Can I go to the Houston Rodeo after BBL surgery?
Most patients are ready for the Rodeo by week 4 of recovery in Stage 2 compression. Your surgeon has final say on your specific timeline. Stage 2 provides the right level of support for the swelling you’ll have at that point — firm enough to protect your results while you walk, stand, and move through a full day at NRG.
What stage compression garment do I need for the Rodeo?
Stage 2 is the right garment for most patients at the Rodeo. It’s designed for weeks 3–8 post-op when swelling has reduced but you still need firm support. If you’re at week 10+, Stage 3 may be appropriate. Come to Salud for a free 20-minute fitting — we’ll assess exactly where you are and put you in the right one.
